Functional Yoga is a fusion of anatomical alignment and Yoga movement. In this class, we focus on strength, mobility and flexibility in the body whilst challenging functionality. Taking you on a journey of self-exploration.

Including all elements of Yoga Asanas (poses), Pranayama (breathing techniques) and meditation this all rounded class will leave you feeling revitalised and energised.

The Nervous system is a complex network of pathways that sends signals to our minds and bodies to help us function.

In this day and age we live in our Sympathetic Nervous System, (flight and fight mode). Modern living comes busy living where we function with high levels of stress and anxiety.

In this class we blend Yin with Mediation tecnhniqes to help re-wire our minds and bodies to tip us into our ParaSympathetic Nervous System (rest and digest mode).

Did you know activating the Vagus Nerve connects you straight to your rest and digest mode.

 Myofascial Flow Yoga

Fascia is a type of connective tissue that wraps around our entire bodies. We can think of like a body suit. Fascia has its own neural pathways which send signals to the body to help it repair from injury or repetitive use.

In this class I blend Yoga movement with myofascial release techniques to help release those tight spots. Using specially designed myofascial release balls, each week we’ll explore different parts of the body releasing tension and restoring health to those tight and overworked areas.

Did you know our fascia is one continuous interconnected system that exists from head to toe just like a body suit.

This class is for students who have a consistent yoga practise and are looking to deepen their awareness.

With little direction from me, the reigns are handed over to the student to delve deep and raise their awareness of their true being.  As we explore a variety of movement students will be encouraged to tune in and listen to their own inner teacher.

Including all elements of Yoga Asanas (poses), Pranayama (breathing techniques) and meditation this all rounded class will leave you feeling revitalised and energised.

Did you know in Sanskrit the word Atman means inner self, listening to your inner being to reveal the true essenence of who you are.

The O Life Programme is my private practice. Based on my training in Yoga therapy and Yoga Medicine, I am able to work alongside healthcare professionals to help people who are experiencing dysfunction in their bodies.

In these sessions, I carry out assessments based on your ‘chief complaint’ and work with you to devise a suitable programme to help restore function back into your mind and body.

The O Life programme is also perfect for people who would prefer 1-2-1 sessions rather than a class environment.
